I am fortunate to be in the position to help start the December 5th Fund. In the ten years I got to know Laura Wiley I was touched and inspired by her giving nature, humor, love for family and friends and passion for her business. When she was diagnosed with cancer, she inspired me even more by her strength and true grit to beat the disease and still be the embodiment of the person I came to know and love. In doing this, I feel that we continue the fight in a way that would truly make Laura proud. She did not lose the race she just passed the baton to us.

When I’m free of the responsibilities of my day job – you can find me playing guitar for my wife and two boys, recovering from hockey injuries and enjoying the company of my good friends and family in Brentwood, MO.
