2021 – Year in Review

Valentine’s Day is next Monday and it feels like a good opportunity to reflect upon all the love that awesome people like you have shown to families dealing with cancer in the past year.

Throughout most of 2020 and half of 2021, we were doing things a little differently than we had in years past. With the pandemic spreading throughout the region, we quickly pivoted to mailing Packaged Moments and doing no-contact deliveries to families that were often only leaving their houses to go to cancer treatments.

In June 2021, we were finally able to get back to giving families Great Day experiences and holding volunteer events. We might not be back to doing work inside the homes of families yet and there might be a new waiver that all volunteers have to sign, but we’re back to doing what we do best – helping families forget cancer, just for one day. And, as an added bonus, we’re now the proud owners of a new hand washing station!

As you can see in the graphic below, we did a lot of good for families in both Missouri and Illinois in a relatively short amount of time last year. All of it was made possible by your support. We love you and thank you for all that you do.

With gratitude,
